a new MPII 8000 out of the box. When the switch is switched to “ON”, the “Low battery” indicator light stays on and the inverter remains “OFF”. There is no way to switch it “ON”. The battery voltage is good (53.4 V)
Hi, Your best way to diagnose this is to use VE configure and a Mk3 interface to get a good read on what the inverter VE bus data is seeing.
Failing this, do measure the battery voltage at the inverter terminals - if you have not already done this.
Connection order: during installation, the battery negative must be connected first, then the positive and any data cables.
If the low battery light is on, then the inverter will not start. If the voltage at the inverter is low, then check for an open circuit fuse, burnt switch or poorly crimped connection.
