So have a Kogan Xpresso 15" touch screen. It was not working correctly until I did the calibration.. however couldn’t get that working until I worked out the driver issues… Turns out that in /etc/udev/rules.d/local.rules need to change ‘ENV{ID_INPUT_TOUCHSCREEN}==“1”’ to ‘ENV{ID_INPUT_MOUSE}==“1”’.. then it works correctly over reboot. However:
1/ Switching to the NewUI the pointer and screen works like a mouse and is super sensitive.. has anyone seen this and knows how to make it work the same way as in the ClassicUI (or is that one of those things switching back to TOUCHSCREEN would fix?).. anyone seen this?
2/ As an aside as I’m posting, anyone know how to keep the calibration over firmware upgrades?
Thanks,
Michelle
