Can we add sensor values back to the detailed view on the Mopeka Pro and other sensors? I have a first gen Cerbo GX. When I look at Ruuvi sensors there is more details when that is turned on in the Overview Page or on VRM. I recall several years ago people were complaining about the accuracy of the temperature on the Mopeka Sensor, feature was removed. Sorry, could not find the old posts of why it was removed. I get they may not be the most accurate, the data is in the device page like most other sensors. For me I have it on a grey water tank, it would be nice to easily see the outside temp or given tank temp as we are heading into winter, just arrow down the details on the sensor in overview.
What you can do is use Node-RED. With a custom input you can read the Mopeka temperature. Then you create a virtual temperature sensor and send the Mopeka temperature to that. The virtual temperature sensor then appears on the temperature sensor page.
You can do similar with the Mopeka battery (or Ruuvi battery) and a virtual battery so you can display the voltage on the battery list.
Thanks for the info on Node-Red. Currently, I do not have any Node-Red. I have not tried to understand Node-Red to attempt to use it as the general Victron System works for me.
I really was just asking that as a default, Victron Energy is allowing us to have more data with devices than less when the programing is done. I really do not understand why it was removed in the first place when it is a personal choice if you use it. So, if it was not more than a few key strokes in a future update, maybe someone could take the 5-30 minutes to add it back.
