Just a guess but maybe the solar history is hidden if space is needed for other tiles.
The question becomes which is more important: seeing the AC sources or the solar history? I suspect the answer would depend on the person viewing the overview at any given time.
In cases where there are two AC sources, it’s good do show them both if space permits. But this too has some priorities: If the system is on grid but the generator is running, that’s a yellow or red flag since the generator may soon run out of fuel. If the system is on generator but grid is present, then again a yellow flag assuming the system is prioritized to favor grid over generator. If the system is on grid but the generator is stopped, this is less critical.
Sure, but real estate is still wasted inside them and I’m not worried about that as that’s not the priority at this stage.
Genset is so big part of the system, it should not disappear and tile could be the manual startup user interface (mine is not but I don’t have a DSE/ComAp yet).
I recall whining quite some time ago already that when this other site did show history bars, it started only collecting it once the UI was loaded. Even the history is visible via console. So there is something fishy going on, now it has stopped displaying the bars altogether.
Good point. I agree the generator should always be present to access it’s controls without digging through menus.
The solar history is the only one provided. There are other histories of importance: AC loads, battery power and SOC among them. Even tank levels or temperatures overtime might important. Maybe there’s another way to provide histories. A separate history page, or in the first level of the drill downs.
