# Max possible inverter load (Ampers)

Hi,

Internal DC fuse of victron 24/1200 inverter is 125 A,  
Does this mean that I can not connect a 24V 200A battery?

Do you mean the battery has a capacity of 200Ah or a max (dis)charge rate of 200A?

Neither are an issue

The internal fuse is to limit the current demanded by the inverter in vase of a problem. Normally it requires less than this and only demands what it needs from the battery, so you can use a battery capable of supplying 200A. The battery can not force this into the inverter.
