I have fitted a Fogstar Drift (Gen 1) 560ah for a friend. The boat had 5 lead acid deep cycle leisure batteries which had come to the end of there life. Everything worked fine, but the batteries didn’t last very Long.
I have fitted the battery using the existing cable 70mm, cleaned and checked all the connections. The Phoenix is a 2007 ish model without (VE Bus), so I have programmed in using Dip switches to the new lithium charging voltages and timings etc.
Charging works fine without any issues, but as soon as you switch to invert, the low voltage warring comes on and inverting is disabled? I have double checked all cables and checked all the connections. Voltage at the inverter is spot on 13.2 - 14.2 depending on solar charging. When I switch to invert my meter has shown as low as 11.5v for a split second.
I have looked to lower the threshold voltage at the inverter, but I can’t seem to find any way to lower it? Is this possible with this inverter?
Is there any other way to fix this issue without replacing the inverter?
Thank you in advance for any helpful feedback and help.
