I have one of these on the boat about 17 years old.
Is it compatible with lion batteries? And if so what do I need to do?
What kind of batteries do you have installed now ?
What part # does the orion have ?
With that old units you don’t have all options for lithium but you can try to set everything as close as possible to a lithium charging profile.
You need a MK2 interface* and VE.config to get to the settings.
*depending on how old the device exactly is a MK3 could also work.
You need to open the device and look at the number on the CPU if it starts with 19 or 20 than a MK3 should work.
