As I see newer and newer developments, I would like to considre the following:
2x 25V LeFePo4, f.e. Pylontech, the max current of these units is ca 100A per unit
As I intend to combine 2 or maybe 3, would is be possible to start my engine from the system too?
This is a question for Pylontech.
That would depend on the CCA requirement of the engines starting system and if that is also 25v as per the battery’s voltage you describe
Solar system battery amps are different to cracking amps. There are products that allow reversal for assisting cranking to an already existing battery that is struggling. But as mentioned if the vehicle battery is 12v and the house battery 24v then you have to convert as well.
All agreed and known.
24V system, cranking ca 180A
Cannot say much about the solar side as I am new to this. Been a motorcyclist all of my life and motorcycle Lithium batteries have more CCA than the standard AGM batteries. The standard AGM for one of my bikes is a 180 CCA but the Lithium that is 30% of the weight is rated as 230 CCA.
