I have an ESS running with two MultiPlus II units.
The portal is now showing that there is an update available for my MultiPlus units.
Is it correct that if I install this update, I’ll have to set up the ESS again?
Correct. You do not need to update just because there is a new version. An inverter is not a mobile phone that constantly needs updates. If nothing is broken, leave it.
There is very little in the way of changes, usually grid codes.
