I’m using the Windows JKBMS V3.0.3 application to monitor the status (besides the APP). I like the windows application a bit more above the mobile App as it has a bigger screen.
I also want to make changes in the configuration in the Windows App. But the settings, control and other tab pages are greyed out. Any idea why? I also don’t see an option to enter my password so that I can access the config.
Andy (Offgrid Garage) has advised against using it to make settings, at least for the previous Windows software version, as it absolutely does not work. The Windows software should only be used to update the firmware. Changing settings, on the other hand, should only be done with the Bluetooth app!
With v3.0.3, however, it should at least be possible to export/import the settings. I do not know whether, in contrast to the previous software version, individual settings can now also be changed online. To be on the safe side, I would still only do this via the app,
Thanks @grua Makes sense what you are saying. It is indeed not the best software. I was hoping to export and import the settings from one BMS into the other. That is not possible with the mobile application. I’ve manually now made the config changes.
