Issue with VRM graphs, Inverter mulit RS 48/6000 (without solar) + Cerbo GX

Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue on several installations with a Victron Inverter RS Smart 48/6000 and Cerbo GX.

The setup is:

- Cerbo GX

- Venus OS v3.75

- Victron Inverter multi RS 48/6000

- ESS

- Victron Grid Meter

- Victron Solar Meter

The live values seem to be correct, but the VRM historical graphs are incorrect when the load is supplied by the battery. When the load is supplied from the grid, the graph appears to be correct.

I have already tried downgrading the firmware, but the issue remains.

Has anyone else experienced this? Could this be a Venus OS/VRM issue, and is a fix planned?

Thanks!

When the battery is empty, the consumption is shown correctly. So it seems that the consumption supplied by the battery is not being counted.

There are different views to choose from to display information differently.

Consumption for example will show battery use in blue

I know, but you can’t see the consumption from the battery. The solar production is also being shown as consumption, which is not correct. The settings are configured as solar production, and the installer has also checked everything thoroughly.

It only shows consumption when the battery is empty, as you can see at the beginning.

Which model exactly do you have? multi RS One has grid input - Inverter RS one does not. They are two different models.

I have Multi RS installations. They all display all the necessary information.

Is your internal battery monitor set on the inverters? You don’t mention what batteries you have so i have assumed they are not can connected to the GX

I have a brand-new Multi RS 48/6000 230V, so I assume this is the new model.

It is connected to Voltsmile V10 batteries, 2 × 5 kWh, via CAN bus.
