I am replacing the very old Mastervolt battery charger in my boat with a IP43 50 (1+1). The boat has a battery combiner for the engine driven alternator. I generally lock out the combiner before I power up my battery charger. My question is if I forget and the charger outputs get combined will it harm the IP43?

Not likely to harm the charger.
