Install 3rd party software: Install: Command not found (Phaeton EV)

Hello All,

I found this application Pheaton (Phaeton – Slim EV-laden op Victron Venus OS | Virtunet) (free for personal use) which i am trying to install on my Multiplus-II GX as root but the installer script stops at line 75 with ''line 75: install: command not found (install -m 0755 “$STAGE_DIR/phaeton” “$INSTALL_DIR/phaeton”)

I am 90% sure i did everything correctly settings wise, hopefully you can support me.

The reason for installing this software is that i have a car for which my employer pays my work/private fuel/charging costs and the EV-charger needs to have an integrated power meter with ''MID" certificates, otherwise i would have happily bought a Victron EV charger.

This integration allows me to integrate my Alfen charger to the Victron Eco system.

Side question: Can i run an Raspberry pi in parallel to my Mutli-GX to avoid bricking this unit?

Only one venus device per system. Best contact the repo owner on git. Venus constantly changes and not all modifications keep up with change.

You can actually now use virtual ev devices in nodered which, with some small integration can avoid modifying venus and all the challenges that can represent.
