MPPT clipping information

Hello,

Installation: 1 Multiplus2 15k + 2 MPPT RS 450/200 + 60khw Pytes storage + Ekrano.

I’d like to know whether anyone has managed to retrieve the MPPT’s curtailment information when the batteries are full.

The only information from the MPPT is a change of mode when the batteries are full. The mode changes from Tracking to CV/CC mode.
The Erkano gets a voltage charge limit from the BMS, and then passes this to all intelligent chargers: Both the MPPT’s and the charging side of the Multiplus.

I’ll look along those lines, but it doesn’t seem to be available:

  • In the MPPT to switch a relay
  • In the “States” (State) of the MPPTs in the VRM

Hello @PaulinC,

You can retrieve this information via Node-RED / Home Assistant.
It should be possible to control the relay using Node-RED logic, but this needs checking — I’ve never thought of using this feature.

That’s what I’ve started looking into; I just need to find the mapping table between the modes and the value that’s returned.
