Industrial Backup for Security Cameras

Hello, we provide security cameras to remote sites, and our customer is needing 48hr runtime on a 51W load, 24VDC. We have 120VAC input to our NEMA enclosure. We have a 24VDC, 110Ah Dakota LiFePO4 battery. Using Lead Acid batteries is simple and we’ve done that plenty of times, but using LiFePO4 is seeming to be much more complicated.

Is there a Victron solution for this? Seems like the Smart IP43 Charger has the correct charging profile to disconnect and not produce a float charge. However, we need to system to run on the 120AC input and only use the battery system intermittently when they loose power. I think the IP43 is just a charger and will not switch from shore to battery and then back again.

Thank you!!!

Have a look at the Multiplus models, these are chargers+inverters. A Multiplus 500VA makes a nice small UPS setup. You can add monitoring via a Cerbo device if required.
