# I need the output object string from an Orion XS Charger through a VE.Direct USB cable

I need this to write a node red flow, as I have not been able to get known good VE.Direct USB cables to work with Orion XS. I have the Orion hooked to a usb hub, which is connected to a Raspi5 running Node Red. All are updated, and the cable was proven to work with a SmartSolar MPPT 100/50. I have 2 Orion chargers and neither will reply over VE.Direct USB.
