I have been going crazy for 3 days in 20 degree weather trying to figure out why the BMV-712 connected via VeDirect cable to my Cerbo GX ( from back of BMV) causes my actual current ADDITION (opposite) to my 24V system, but the BMV-712 is working perfectly! (showing my battery heaters drawing 7 amps! (a negative 7amps)
If I tried to tell you how many things I’ve tried…..it would have you laughing!
So how about telling me HOW to do it, and I’ll go from there!
Tom
ps…
this is exactly what I’m doing……BUT WHERE DO THE pos/neg wires go (feeding the 24:12 converter)?
Currently, they are on A port off the Lynx Distributer with a fuse…yes, both pos & neg.
Because as soon as I connect the BMV-712 VeDirect cable OR BT (on), flick a breaker to allow current to flow from the 24:12 converter to my 12v battery, IT SHOWS UP ON MY Lynx Shunt on the 24v system…AS A POSITIVE IN! (Not a draw)/
