How can the battery be woken up and charged by the SmartSolar MPPT?

My System: a Victron SmartSolar MPPT, Victron GX Cerbo, and 24V lithium battery, with all communication cable connected.
a problem arises when attempting to wake up a fully depleted (and shut-down) battery using the MPPT charger: the MPPT output voltage rises to 23V but immediately drops, preventing the battery from waking up and charging.(Please see the chart, CH1—MPPT output voltage; CH2—MPPT output current.)
How can the battery be woken up and charged by the MPPT while the communication cables for all three devices remain connected?

Is the MPPT running in EXT (external control) mode? Are you getting error 67 from the MPPT?

Hi Dean,
Yes, running in external control mode, we got the error code OR4(Disabled remotely or by the BMS)

You should be able to unplug it from the GX, then remove all power (panels and battery) from the mppt to cycle it. It should come up again without external control.
(make sure it has correct standalone charger settings)
This is why proper cutoffs (or a battery protect) are needed so it does not die, putting it in this zone is bad for battery longevity.
