High Voltage Alarms

I have two MPPT 100/50 controllers charging a 416 AH, 12v LiFePO4 bank. They have been working great for a few months, but in the last few days I keep getting high voltage alarms from my inverter and my Balmar SG200. I am not plugged into shore power. My only other charging source is a converter which is not plugged in.

The Voltage Graph from the charge controller shows a spike to over 16 volts. The Balmar records 16.4 volts. Both charge controllers are set the same.

What could cause the voltage spike?

Maybe “edge of the cloud”? Does it happen on partially cloudy days?

You have lifepo4 and temp compensation that is not correct.

Use the preset for lithium (lifepo4) activate expert mode and re program they mppts are not set correctly and the bms is tripping.

It should look more like this.
