High Temp Alert: Phoenix 1200 Pure Sin Wave Inverter

Hello,

I have a Phoenix 1200 Pure Sine Wave Inverter.

Worked for three days, but it now persistently

shows a High Temp Alert. Double light flashes, and when I connect with Victron Connect,

the app tells me the device has a High Temp alert.

But … it’s not serving a load. And it’s 65 degrees at my

location. And, it is well ventilated. I think it’s incorrect.

I tried to find a way to ‘clear’ the code, but can’t find

such a method. I unpowered it from the batteries for overnight but in the

morning when I switch it on it immediately shows the error light

pattern and VC shows ‘High Temp Alert’.

My question: Anyone encounter this? ( I searched the forum, and didn’t find a discussion about this, so perhaps not). But if so, how do you get the device to not claim a high temp alert?

I updated it to the latest firmware earlier today but that did not have an effect.

thanks for any tips
