Gavazzi EM111 CT mode

According to the Victron energy meter selection guide the EM111 is indicated only as direct connection metering, while the EM111 datasheet allows a CT mode up to 300A. does the GX support CT mode in the EM111 ?

In my case there is about 100m distance to the meter cabinet, and there is no room anymore for more direct connections , only a CT will do. I have only 2 cat5 pairs left over for an additional meter. Already have 2 meters placed, one for solar, the other for EV charging.. so one or two more rs485’s…

@basreflex Can you post a screenshot where you read this as the EM111 documentation is clear it is direct/shunt up to 45A.

apparently you need to order the AV5 option ,connect the CT output to the 5A current shunt input . so a 10:1 CT rated to 50A will do the job.

just called gavazzi nl, the EM111 AV5 version is available and in stock. the question is now if this unit is recognized by the GX., and how to set the CT ratio.
