Fronius GEn 24 and Cerbo GX connected via network switch everything goes as per the procedure and FR inverter appears on the device list. However as soon as the blue led stops flashing it drops off and does not reaappear despite the VN rescan. Pressing the FR centre button and making the blue LED flash and the unit reappears on the GX. FR running most upto date firmware.??

Any ideas?

Does this happen when the sun goes down? Some PV inverters turn off a lot of internal coms features overnight to cut self consumption.

The FR inv broadcasts for about 10mins after initiating.

that could be a configuration problem. I’m not familiar with Fronius configurations, but there may be a timeout that needs to be turned off, or a keep awake signal that needs to be sent?
