Tech support at Fogstar not fully sure about compatibility.
They say their battery plus Multiplus II plus Cerbo GX does work so I feel it should also work with Multiplus II GX
I don’t want to make an expensive purchasing mistake.

I cant comment on the GX version of the Multiplus II, but i am currently using it with a multiplus ii and a Cerbo GX with no issues.
Just looking on line at these batteries - the BMS is all internal with no data access. You will therefore get no data about the battery operation - other than the terminal voltage.
If you are ok with that then there should be no problem, just ensure that you program sufficient margin thet the inverter will limit charge and discharge so that the batteries BMS never gets to the cut off point in normal operation.

Which appears to have a Pace BMS and they have a blog post on why they used Pace.
Not familiar with them myself but some quick Google fu suggests they are should work fine with Victron kit.

If the BMS has a standard CAN format it should work ok.
The Pace BMS is widely used in various batteries that are supported by Victron, so it does work. It will also depend how it presents itself to the GX, it may just spoof a pylontech as fogstar isn’t on the supported list.
