Firmware 563 Issues Generator GRID CODE NONE

Last week I’ve set up a system with lead acid and a Multiplus II GX 48/5000, the system is off grid. I’ve updated the GX to the latest version (3.75), updated the Multiplus to the latest version 563 (2623563), programmed it for lead acid, quitted the check for UPS, left checked the “Accept wide input frequency…”, marked the weak ac input. Generator is crappy and old… The grid code was none, and then, tested generator. The genrator frequency travelled from 46 to 51, I think AVR is not working properly, but as soon as the frequency got under 50 Hz the Multplus started to pump power trough AC IN. And disconnected, I tested several times and it did the same behavior. Finally I downgraded the firmware to 556 (2623556) and started the generator and worked properly. It is a big problem that you pump energy trough AC IN in an off grid installation with generator… hope it helps someone

For offgrid you should set grid code to none.

Grid code was already set to none, did you read the post?

I read both the post name and the post.

With being off grid it should be set to none since you aren’t connected ro grid. I realised my working was not exact.

So do you think it was the grid code or the firmware?

I think it’s the firmware, since the grid code was all the time “none”, and the only change was the firmware.
