According to our design, a three core 4mm2 AC cable was approved for use at the input sides 1 and 2 of the Filax 2 ATS. However, according to our supplier, they claim that 4mm2 is “Too big to fit in the ATS holes”. According to the Filax 2 ATS manual, it doesn’t specifically mention wire cross section.
We are at a stage where it is very difficult to change any approved design parameters (we have checked, and 2.5mm2 is also applicable). Is it true that you cannot use 4mm2 wire at the input terminals of this ATS, and that the limit is 2.5mm2?
