Feature request - Venus OS adding 'Are you sure' message when restarting VE Bus

Hi all, I couldnt see where to add in a feature request, but am running Venus 3.75 and have my whole property connected through a 15kVA quattro.

When I went to restart the VE-Bus (to clear a stuck alarm) in the settings/devices/quattro/advanced tab, I wasnt given any warning that the quattro itself would actually restart thus cutting power for a few seconds.

What would have been handy is if a window popped up asking ‘are you sure as this will disconnect all power’ to save any inconvenience. - Please can this be added in to the next OS update.

Many thanks.

This is documented in the manual, and why there are different access levels for users and installers.
Pushing an option labelled reset without understanding what it does can only end poorly.

  • Restart VE.Bus system: Restarts the inverter/charger (just like switching it off and on again from the main rocker switch at the front) if it fails to restart automatically (after 3 attempts), for example, after a (very) heavy overload; or three overloads in a row. Any persistent errors such as a repeated and unrecoverable overload error, are deleted.

Yes I get that, but it would be handy having an ‘are you sure’ message pop up on screen as a reminder that it will fully restart the inverter causing temporary loss of power.
