External Victron display

It would be great if there were also a Victron display in a tabletop format, like the Energy display from homewizart, powered via USB-C and connected via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and equipped with light and motion sensors. Could this possibly happen someday? The display with HDMI keeps rebooting my Cerbo GX when using GUI V2. Classic works fine, as does V2 via Wi-Fi on a phone, etc. I still think there may be insufficient memory or processing power. An external display would be a great solution and would provide useful information in my living room.

Would this work?

Yes, that would definitely work. But I’d prefer a display without a battery. I think it would then be a Raspberry Pi with a display. But I thought there might be plans for a thin 5-inch screen that you could simply place on a cabinet.

Tablets (with battery) are cheaper than displays (without battery) because they’re mass-produced for the much larger tablet market…

You can even get ones with a built-in stand/charger so they look exactly like your picture, for example this one is less than £200 with dock – and can be taken off the dock and moved around (even outside in the rain), since it has a battery…

A Samsung Galaxy Active Tab has a removable battery and can be configured to operate without one.
(The 8-inch devices are sometimes permanently mounted in cold stores or warehouses on forklift trucks and used as HMIs for warehouse operations. Under the environmental conditions found there, a battery could potentially cause problems or may not be permitted for safety reasons.)
