I’ve plugged in Bluetooth 4.0 Nano adapter into USB port on Cebro GX but I’m not sure that is making any difference - What do I need to do to extend USB range.
How far? one can always use a USB extension cable - to a reasonable length. VE direct and VE-Bus cables can also be extended at need.
I just plugged in Nono does it need to be setup?
On a laptop you would install drivers do you need anything on the Cerbo?
Supported list of Bluetooth adapters (no driver needed)
If you go to services/bluetooth/bluetooth adapters you should see one entry for the internal bluetooth and additional entries for external USB adapters. If it is not there, the adapter you have chosen won’t work with Venus OS. I don’t think there is any way to add drivers to support adapters that don’t work plug-n-play.
Beyond that, there is no indication of which adapter is in use for which sensors.
As was mentioned before, a USB extension cable will allow you to position one or more bluetooth adapters where they can improve connectivity. Up to about 5 meters anyway.
You can use a powered hub to add more USB ports if you run out.
There are two adapters showing but no other options - also it didn’t make any difference in connectivity that I was trying to improve.
