Every time I go into VRM now for my boat and look at the “Advanced” tab, it logs an event of:
“Installation settings update - General settings updated”
Which is filling up the event log to no use since I haven’t actually updated anything.
Is this a bug, or a setting that can be turned off?

When you zoom in or out, the new zoom (date range) is memorized and a “settings changed” is stored.
It’s probably, in advanced page init, a call to the function with the current zoom, which, if the same with the last one, should not be logged…

Still doing it… Both Firefox and Chrome.
Cleared cache and stuff… Logged out and back in… Same.
First two in Firefox, last too in Chrome.
Maybe need some time in the webserver to sync?
Or maybe a restart of the webserver?
Try beta. Mine didn’t log but I don’t use prod.
Tried it on phone (Android), still logs an event when I go to Advanced page
It may have just been pushed to beta first.
Indeed, in beta is working.
Personally, I am trying to avoid using beta and use only release.
This way I know that if I find something, it’s a fact, not a possibility, like in the beta situation.
Confirms the fix, usually rolled through beta first so on prod hopefully tomorrow.

Fixed now – doesn’t post an event if you either go to the advanced page, or change the zoom (time span) setting. Great work guys
