In modbus mode, the Epex quarter-hourly price could be written to modbus address 5143 (Energy Price per kWh L), allowing the various costs to be calculated correctly.
In MQTT mode, modbus no longer works, and there is no topic for the energy price per kWh in MQTT.
Can this topic be added to MQTT (R/W)?
Hello @HKO. Actually, if you migrated to MQTT, you can still use the EVCS Modbus TCP server. The port changed to 50200 for compatibility reasons. So if MQTT is not paired: port 502; if MQTT is paired: port 50200.
@Nicolas Many thanks for your quick response with this information. This is exactly what I needed. I couldn’t imagine that Modbus had become unreachable. I’ve tested it, and it’s working again.
That said, it would still be great if Energy price per kWh could be added as a topic in MQTT.
