Hi, before purchasing can someone confirm schedule functionality from experience:

  • Schedule set for 9am-3pm
    • Car plugged in before 9am or after 3pm - will the car only start charging when 9am comes around and stop charging at 3pm?
    • Car plugged in during schedule (eg 11am) - will the car start charging automatically and stop charging at 3pm?
  • Can the scheduler have multiple time slots eg: 9am-3pm, 11pm-6am
    • Can i set different charging currents for individual time slots
  • Can the charger record cost at different rates for time periods and give an accurate cost for energy used during specific periods?

What i’m after is that the car will automatically charge during scheduled periods regardless of when its plugged in, and without the user having to manually switch it on or monitor it.

Yes, if the car is configured to start charging immediately, and the charging station is in Scheduled mode, it will charge within the set timerange.

And not specifically for Victron, but for all chargers, have either the charger OR the car decide when to charge, not both.

The measured energy going through does not seem that accurate for the current charge station, so it can only give you an idea of the cost, not something accurate. It also only shows the last charging session, but it is possible to save the readings if you use some external software to handle that.
