I have attempted to charge my EV automobile using two Multiplus-II’s (3000AH) configured for 240V. I have four SOK, 100AH batteries. I’ve limited the EV charger to 16A (as low as it goes). After about 10 seconds of charging, the inverters stop on the MP-II’s and the grid takes over. My testing has been done with no other loads on the system. I know my 240V works because I have a 240v pool pump normally operated by the MP-II’s.
Any thoughts on why EV charging doesn’t work?
