I’m planning on installing a Multiplus 2 5000 GX.
What i can’t find any info about is whether or not the wired ethernet port is grounded for use of FTP and STP datacables?
Is it ok to put the datacables near the power cables?
Thanks in advance!

In the tech specs...
Ethernet
10/100 RJ45 socket - isolated except shield
It is generally a good practice to separate comms and electrical wiring.
Use unshielded cable.
There are a few on the forum here who have had their cerbo gx damaged through the ethernet port.
How long is your run of cable?
Thanks!
They both are approximately 25 meter of which roughly 50% seperate and the other half they go along under the garden to the garage.
So i guess in have to make 2 seperate cable conduits for power and data…
If you are going between buildings then consider data line protection or switching to fibre if you have lightning and other surge potential.
What kind of protection do you mean as shielded cable is not prescribed?
Data line (ethernet) surge protection.
