ESS system: No grid feed-in possible, and the load isn't being supplied by PV

Hello everyone

My ESS system:
1-phase MultiPlus II GX 48V
4 Victron GEL batteries
1 Victron MPPT 250 | 60

Settings:
ESS: DC-coupled feed-in
Setpoint -200W
Minimum SOC for discharge 50%

I can’t get it to feed power into the grid. The MultiPlus regulates to 0. No matter what I set, whether “BatteryLife” or “No BatteryLife”, it supplies the load from the grid, including losses, and only uses the solar power generated to charge the batteries. The battery is currently full. The MPPT switches to minimum.

The system was checked by a professional. He can’t find anything wrong either.
What can I change to make this work, or does it generally not work with lead-acid batteries?

Thanks very much for your help.

What are your ESS settings?

Mode: Optimised with BatteryLife
Grid meter: Inverter/charger
Multiphase regulation: Single phase
Minimum SoC: 50%
Active SOC limit: 50%
BatteryLife status: Self-consumption
Limit inverter power: No
Grid setpoint: -200W
Grid feed-in: DC-coupled PV surplus feed-in
Everything else Off
Peak shaving: Only above the minimum SoC
Everything else Off
Scheduled charging levels: Inactive

Current system:

Configuration: VE-Config:
MultiPlusII_GX_ESSFehlert.vsc (6.0 KB)

Unfortunately, I don’t have a Windows computer to hand right now.

Something to read:

The modes are particularly interesting. If you have the toggle switch set to Charger only (II), as Dognose says, the Multi can only charge!

Hi,

You need to set the physical switch at the bottom of the MP to “Inverter & Charger” (I). It looks like you have it set to “Charger only” (II). (Then nothing comes out of the Multi.)

Bear in mind that when changing the setting, you’ll pass through the “Off” position

P.S. Pure speculation, but this is the cause of almost 95% of cases where “ESS isn’t discharging”.

Hello
I’ve now restarted VE-Configure 3 to save the configuration. It told me there was a new version available. It also required an update to the ESS Assistant. After that, I loaded everything again and now it works. It’s feeding power into the grid at full capacity. My setpoint of -200 W doesn’t seem to matter at the moment, though.
I didn’t have this update, 90.04.248, the day before yesterday.
Thanks anyway!
The switch was already in the correct position.
