I have installed a simple system wit a multiplus 2 48V/5000 with 4 lifepo4 batteries in series (with their own safety BMS), Cerbo-GX, Smartshunt and 3Ph monitor. I installed Ess and setup for self consumption. Charging the batteries from the AC coupled pv goes fine from bulk to absorption and float. After the Pv stops delivering I would expect the multiplus to switch to inverter mode but it does not. does anybody know what i do wrong here?
95% of the cause when this happens is that you put the physical switch on the multis into “Charger only” rather than “Inverter & Charger” Position.
Can you verify that?
I’ll be #$%$&*^I never thought of a physical switch. It has been a while ago when I started the install and never finished. the switch was indeed on II (charge only)
