It appears to me as if the ESS Grid setpoint cannot be controlled to a value closer to zero than -100W to achieve a small Grid feed-in, without drawing any power from the Grid. Is this correct?
My system is set to allow AC and DC coupled PV feed-in excess.
I’d welcome any advice.
You can set it to 0.
BUT: Single phased or with individual phase metering mode that has precission issues: A lot of meters require a minimum current of ~0.25A before they report anything.
That - on a singlephased 230V grid - would mean, the smallest values that meter would ever report is +/- 57W.
You should check your meters manual on that, some even require 0.5A, which could be around the 100W you are seeing?
That’s it. Thanks for the help.
