After a software update, my ESS has disappeared from the Cerbo, and I can’t load the ESS Assistant. I’d like to be able to set the minimum and maximum charge levels of my Pylontech battery again.

What did you update? Cerbo or MultiPlus?

Since the ESS Assistant is installed on the MultiPlus, updating the Cerbo shouldn’t cause any problems.

When you update the MultiPlus, it is reset to its default settings and needs to be reprogrammed. You’ll also see a warning before updating.

Hello Matthias,

Unfortunately, you’re right, and I’ve updated the MultiPlus. Now I need to get my three-phase system back up and running. I can get hold of an MK3 interface, but I haven’t done this on my own before. Do you have any tips for me?

During an update via the VRM Portal, the configuration is usually downloaded. You need to open it, check it and upload it again; all of this is explained in the instructions.
Have a look in your Downloads folder; the file might be there.
