I have the jk bms v19 and the Victron Smart shunt, in contrast to many others I have never seen more difference then 3% soc since installation 8 months ago. ymmv
With use case and set up as well it makes a difference.
The set ups that use a shorter range in the voltage of the cells and then the ones who don’t charge to full and hover their batteries seem to have more issues. And sometimes DESS does that with talrade mode.
Do you basically regularly charge to full?
Yes, charge regular to 100% could be every day without the current spikes/ jumps, furthermore no dess or trade, charge only with surplus pv power.
