Energy Meter VM-3P75CT on a hybrid setup

Hi,

I am currently working on a hybrid setup. The batteries will be Victron NG coupled with Lynx BMS NG. The Orion XS is going to handle DC-DC charging. The inverter/charger however is going to be a non-Victron one. Due to existing local monitoring systems and shape/space contstrains we are unable to use Multi Plus or Quattro. The inverter/charger could be easily controlled via the Allowed to Charge / Discharge signals. The charge profile on the other hand is adjustable to work best with the Vitron NG batteries. So proper charging is not a concern.

However, I would like to be able to display the 230 VAC values of the inverter/charger on the Ekrano. I am planning to use Energy Meter VM-3P75CT. 3 of them- one for AC input, one for AC out 1 and one for AC out 2.
My question is;
Can I set the Energy Meter to display values like shore, ac loads etc (just like it does with a Victron inverter/charger)?

Thanks

DK

Tough question as I haven’t tried exactly your setup. ACin will be shown correctly as that meter will be configured with role “grid”. ACout I’m not sure if on the main screen you will see them added together.. I guess so. As both meters will be configured with role “AC load” Than in the devices menu you can readout the individual meter readings. The inverter block will show “off” as it is not receiving any info from an Victron inverter.

Your other option is Nodered to make any overview you like to see.

Thanks @AvB

I will try to see what I can with Node red.
