Hello all! I’m having difficulties finding answers to a question about my new solar power off-grid installation.

Is it possible to charge connected batteries with solar panels only with the inverter off?
Basically I wish to leave my off-grid installation for the winter in a state where the EasySolar-II GX will not draw any power, but will allow charging.

EasySolar-II GX, four 435W panels, four 120Ah AGM batteries.

Here is an archived post with the same dilemma: [Community archive](https://communityarchive.victronenergy.com/questions/232075/easysolar-2-gx-charge-only-behavior-off-grid.html)

Thank you all!

Use the charger only position if in doubt.

The manual only described the rocker switch as affecting the inverter part of the inverter.

It explains it in the specification sheet.
