Dynamic ESS switch in VRM doesn't work in Beta 3.80~14

I am using Beta 3.80~14 and Dynamic ESS in Trade Mode.

Switching Dynamic ESS ‘OFF’ in VRM or in console doesn’t have any effect on the energy flow. PV-Energy is still flowing to Grid instead to batteries. The switch is showing OFF and the D-ESS section in ‘/settings/system setup/ESS’ menu is withdrawn.

A reboot of the GX results in expected behaviour.

Is there a bug?

Yes, that indeed was introduced with one of the more recent betas.

It has been fixed and submitted for an update already.

Changelogs then will outline:

DESS: Fixed a bug, causing the battery to stay idle when DESS was disabled during idling.
