Changed DESS auto schedule syncing for the planned grid cuts - now I use negative prices in order to force DESS to never plan any charging from grid at a time when there is no grid planned ![image](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/victron/original/2X/f/fa31a05619a28aac1e2a883402f621978cb43721.png) If you decide to add to DESS schedule of grid cuts for #ukrainian community - I’d appreciate @Barbara Long story short - we have a schedule from grid providers when grid won’t be available due to stabilisation needs, so in order for me to make DESS working properly I need to game with DESS fixed prices via Node-RED with help of @dfaber and put some fake negative prices to it for DESS to never use timeframes for planned charging/feed-in ---

Nice setup, great to see the Multi RS in a DESS setup. Is DESS already fully supported on the Multi RS? I understood that the DESS features are running behind compared to the Multiplus II devices. What is your experience? ---

DESS is fully supported in recent firmwares There are some limitations ( no parallel setup ) - that’s why I do use MultiRS in serial in order to get 6kW+6kW with PowerAssist on a single phase ---

Great video Andrii. When you were on your roof, what is the cable or rod that runs down the middle of the ridge flashing? It looks like it is held by brackets every 1m or so, by insulated rings maybe? Is it lightening protection? ---

It is lightning protection, yeah It’s 10mm diameter aluminium cable, installed by the edge of the roof in order to help possible strike to bounce off the roof into water drainaige towards the ground There is a [video of roof safety](https://youtu.be/ZseMwPQKtUE) where I do explain of how it is organised -it is in Ukrainian, so feel free to enable subtitles and translation of subtitles to your language. Or ask questions, I’ll do some photos if needed ---
