My system:
Multi RS single-phase with a 16 kWh LFP battery
20 solar panels, 8 of which are connected to the Multi RS’s MPPT
My question is whether anyone has a similar system and what their experience has been with it
I have a Bosch heat pump, which is controlled through Home Assistant and the HACS app PV Excess Control.
With this app, you can “send” your excess PV power to your heat pump, EV or any other device.
The Bosch has a smart grid contact that allows you to start the system when there is excess PV power.
My Victron system is also connected to Home Assistant, which works perfectly for using as much of my own electricity as possible.
OK, thanks. But I don’t have HA running (yet); that’s going to happen over the coming months.
I also need to figure out whether the Weheat allows direct hardwired control, because so far everything goes through an API.
