# DESS: Green Mode sells to grid instead charging Battery

exactly that problem is addressed by dognose’s HACK: [[DESS HACK] Unexpected Bat2Grid and Solar-Feedin. (Green Mode)](https://community.victronenergy.com/t/dess-hack-unexpected-bat2grid-and-solar-feedin-green-mode/5432)  
Working good since days on my side:  
Before installation i saw PV → Grid even if Battery was below 100% !  
Today i see - TargetSOC is below actual SOC but PV still goes into Battery 🙂
