DESS acting strange: charges every evening to 90% during high pricing, then immediately sells back

Last week I was trying something in NodeRed, I wanted to create a flow that would change the mini SOC of the battery to 90% when grid import prices are below 2 cents.

However I had lots of trouble getting this flow to work with my 3 phase Multi RS system, so eventually I decided to delete the flow entirely and stick to normal DESS.

DESS has always worked fine for me in the last 2 years, but since last week, for some reason the DESS forecast changes every evening around 20:00h. When prices are high, the system is feeding back into the grid, until about 20:00h when it decides that the battery needs to go to 91% and stay there for the rest of the next day (see screenshot). Even though I have set my minimum SOC to 35% (or whatever settings, I have tried everything from 5% to 50%).

I have tried rebooting the system, I have upgraded the cerbo to the latest beta firmware, then downgraded again to the latest official release. Disabled DESS and enabled it again.

Even tried to install a firmware on the cerbo without NodeRed, but that doesn’t make a difference either.

I have currently disabled DESS because I don’t want to charge the batteries from grid again during high prices, but if I did not disable DESS, the system would continu to charge from grid for a couple of hours, and then somehow it resets again and starts feeding back into grid again!

I am almost getting to the point of installing a new cerbo and creating a completely new VRM system, but I don’t really want to lose all the data from the past.

Any suggestions from the pro’s?
I have a feeling that my previous NodeRed flow has somehow corrupted something within DESS that I cannot access or reset.

My system consist of a three phase Multi RS system with a total of 175kWh of battery capacity.

My installation ID is 728689

In this screenshot, you can see the totally weird behavior of DESS on the 4th of september, especially in the evening were it sells to grid, then charges from grid, then sells back to grid etc… all when prices are high. Keep in mind that during this event, I wasn’t home and I did not change any settings at all:

My grid meter confirms that this is actually happening and not some bug in the VRM:
