Cut T-sense cable - can I repair with solder and heat shrink?

Almost finished with my Camper solar/LiFePO4/12V Air Conditioning unit installation, and I see that my T-sense cable is cut. Wondering if I repaired it with solder and heat shrink, would that affect the accuracy by changing the resistance to the cable?

I doubt that will be an issue, I have lengthened cables by soldering extra length on and the sensor is OK. The current flow is very small so should not affect the voltage reading.

Isn’t it a resistance that’s transmitted? In which case it shouldn’t be changed by adding a bit of solder.

Have a look for “Scotchlock” … they’re grease-filled insulation-displacement connectors …
