Continuity between Positive and Negative !?

Hi, while doing some tests to be sure to properly identify wires, I noticed that testing with a ‘‘beeper’’ I have no resistance, so direct continuity, between my + and - connecting lugs inside my MultiPlus 12-3000/120 (first version). AC out #2 doesn’t make that. Only AC out #1 and the Batts lugs.

My symbol might not be clear ; the kind of ‘‘star’’ is to illustrate the ‘‘beep’’ from the tester.

Is it something normal ? Maybe there’s something with my dip switches presets ?

It is so weird because in my mind, I would get a massive short as soon as I plug the battery bank.

There is electronics inside, you can’t just “measure” continuity there.
