I was away on holiday for three weeks. The direct impact is that the system’s consumption forecast is now way off. It gets a bit better every day, but correcting it is quite tedious — and it matters, because DESS is enabled on my installation. Is there, or could there be, a feature (holiday feature as on my heatpump) to exclude specific dates from the data used to calculate the consumption forecast?
You’ve been able to manually adjust the consumption forecast for some time now. I’d do that for the first week after your holiday, perhaps tweak the second week a little too, and after that it should be right again.
I completely agree, and that’s what I do, but it would be so much simpler to add a date-range exclusion criterion.
That’s certainly true. On the other hand, creating a system for every operator and every possible need—and making it work across Europe or even globally—is quite an extensive and complicated undertaking.
I completely agree with you, but there is a solution, even if it isn’t perfect.
