you can use inverting remote on/off cables from the t sense port and the aux1 port to connect to the load and charge cut off on the bms. it says you have to upload these settings. does anyone know how to do this via the victron connect app? do I need different software?

You need to do this with a laptop and the VE configure software.
You need to load the 2 signal BMS assistant into the Multi, and follow the configuration settings.
Once done make sure that you send the modified settings to the Multi.
Software is free download from the Victron site.
