The new UI looks like a great step forward in clarity on the Cerbo GX Mk2, unfortunately, our Victron supplier, and therefore our path to Victron support are totally unfamilair with the new layout & menu structure, so unable to help. ![]()
Iām totally new to the Cerbo CX Mk2 (Why donāt they print Mk2 on the box?? I have to dig around in the VRM device list to confirm that is isnāt just the Cerbo GX as it says onn the box, odd) and the Victron VRM that it enables - so perhaps thereās a way through to the settings that the old UI had, but since Iāve āupgradedā the UI, and as far as I know there is no way back to the old one Iām a bit stuck.

The FogstarDrift PRO Gen2 manual trumpet the Victron integration, but having spoken to a helpful engineer there this morning, they too are unsighted as to how to set up the basic connectivity with the new Victron UI.

What Iām trying to access if it were the old system would be this, from the Fogstar manual:
GX Devices with VE.Can only (Cerbo GX Mk2, Ekrano GX)
1.Power on the GX device.
2.Go to Settings > Services ā set VE.Can speed = 500 kbit/s.
3.Go to Settings > DVCC: Enable DVCC
Set Shared Voltage Sense = On
Set Shared Temperature Sense = On
4.Go to Settings > System Setup: Battery Monitor ā select the battery (typically shows as LFP or BMS identifier).
5.Return to Device List: the battery will appear as a CAN device, displaying voltage, current, SOC, and temperature.
But since the Settings>Services has now disapeared as far as I can see, where do I find these settings now?
It seems weird that Victron would not flag an āupgradeā like this either to their reseller / āsupportā network, nor to companies like Fogstar who need to support customers where they promote āVictron integrationā as a major marketing point.
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
Stephen (off grid fro two more days in the French alps until we drive back to UK Saturdayā¦hoping to be able to monitor these new batteries remotely)
